My name is Grace Loncraine. I study English literature and Spanish at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. I grew up in the west of London. When I’ve got free time I like to read and to swim. I also like to travel. When I left secondary school I went to Mexico for five months, which is where I first became interested in learning Spanish. Over the summer I am doing an internship with UN Women in New York City. My experience has persuaded me towards a career in the area of human rights, but that’s as far as I’ve got with planning my future. I am hugely excited to come to Madrid next year and work in your school. I’ll try my best to share with you all that I know of British music, film, literature and cuisine (although perhaps that last one you’re better off not knowing much about) and hopefully your language skills will develop in the process.
